No, it’s not a book, it’s a trade show. What trade, you might ask? Well, you can bet I was wondering when I agreed, along with fellow authors Sasha White and Vivi Anna, to participate in “Taboo, the naughty but nice sex show.” And in November I found out! Imagine a convention centre with maybe 100 booths - more than half of them selling sex toys and/or sexy corsets and lingerie. Imagine three hunky firefighters selling firefighter calendars. Pole dancer exhibitions, burlesque and -- oh yes, male exotic dancers! Yup, this show was hot. Right, Sasha and Vivi?
Chapters, the big Canadian chain store, sponsored booths in both Calgary and Edmonton, and we got to be the featured fiction writers. Yeah, okay, the Kama Sutra, tantric sex and “365 Positions” sold better than we did, but all the same, it was a blast. So were the seminars we did on “Writing Hot for Fun or Profit.”
Guess what was the most-asked question? “Can you really buy these books in the store?” Yup, you sure can! And we authors would really like it if you did. So, I think we did some good promo not only for our own books but for erotic romance and erotica in general. And you know what, it really was fun!

As Kate said in her last post, I don't get to come on here too often. Deadlines. Kids. Life in general. They all seem determined to stop me from blogging and chatting. I finally put the latest manuscript (Body Moves - out in late 07 from Aphrodisia) to bed early this month. And then I received the wonderful news that my November 28 of 06 release, Operation G-Spot, has been included in the Holiday Issue of Vibe Vixen magazine. As exposure goes, that certainly sounds great to me! :)
G-Spot is included as 1 of 12 steamy reads to pick up this holiday season. Here is a peek at the feature page...
If you're interested in reading about all of the 12 suggested reads, you can pick up a copy of Vibe Vixen at Borders and similar bookstores, or check out their website for more information: VibeVixen.com.

I haven't been posting here because life in general has just been overwhelming, but trotted on over to check out the blog tonight and found myself scrolling through the covers in the sidebar on the left...and all I could think was that I've never seen so many gorgeous covers in my life! Kensington's art department truly rocks...every single cover is beautiful, unique, and hot as hell...we are really lucky to be able to showcase our writing within such gorgeous packaging.

I'm so excited about this trailer. My web goddess Frauke created it for me, and I couldn't be more pleased. It captures the essence of the book completely.
Well, color me thrilled with my cover for Midnight Confessions II. Another snuggled up couple. I love it! Hot, sultry, romantic....all those good things.
This book won't be out until June, 2007. A follow up to my March release, Midnight Confessions.
It's really fun to be able to stretch characters and situations over a series. I did not conceive Midnight Confessions as a series, but the characters were so much fun, and there was so much story to tell about each one that it just evolved. Now I find myself doing "tidy up" stories in anthologies just so some subplots can be completed.
I love my spectral ladies of Perdition House, more now than when I started. I've spent a lot of time with them and hope that readers will enjoy reading them.
Early reviews are starting to come in and they are encouraging. Not fair to post them yet, but as March approaches I'll be sharing them here.
Oh and stay tuned for more news re: a video trailer. I've been having a blast with that!
Finally! I have a cover for my May 2007 release, Sex Lounge! Isn't it yummy? I'd told my editor I wanted to allow readers to imagine what my characters look like so maybe that's why they cut off their heads? LOL Anyway, I'm so excited!
Manager of a San Francisco talent agency, Nichole Simms is poised, professional, and cool - but her private notebook reveals a much more daring woman who loves explicit, uninhibited sexual fantasies. Her dream lover is a secret. Until he finds her notebook …
Famous chaise designer Derek Mitchell can't believe his eyes when he stumbles upon Nichole's secret book - in which he stars. Derek is hot to explore each sinful scene and every red-hot obsession with this demure, quiet beauty … and fulfill her every desire.
And I got some fantastic quotes:
"A sexy page-turner. You'll love it!" --Lori Foster
"Rachelle Chase is the Goddess of Erotic Romance. The hot, steamy, and unforgettable romance sizzles in this page-turning novel." --Mary B. Morrison
"An amazing erotic imagination...the reader is simultaneously swept up in Chase's writing, drawn into the drama of her characters, and kept in a state of sexual arousal...takes you on a ride that is exciting and enlightening." --Dr. Michael Bader, author of Arousal: The Secret Logic of Sexual Fantasies
Woo-hoo. Can you see why I'm excited?! :-)
